Micron Technology, Inc. seeks a hands-on validation engineer to lead customer-focused system validation of enterprise and data-center SSDs, owning execution, debugging, qualification, and cross-functional coordination.

The role requires building validation environments, developing test scripts, mentoring junior engineers, and applying AI to improve efficiency across validation programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, ECE, or related field with 8+ years in validation.
  • Strong knowledge of NVMe and PCIe protocols; cross-domain debugging.
  • Experience with Python, C/C++ and automation/testing frameworks.
  • Ability to mentor engineers and collaborate with firmware/hardware teams.

Applying Artificial Intelligence to improve organization level working efficiencyPreferred Qualifications:• Experience supporting OEM, hyperscale, or cloud customer qualification programs.• Prior ownership of validation execution for customer‑facing platforms.• Mentoring experience or technical leadership in validation teams.• Familiarity with industry certifications, compatibility testing, or joint qualification processes.• Strong communication skills for multi-functional and customer‑facing interactions.The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:$145,000.00 - $247,000.00 a yearAdditional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
