Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks a highly skilled memory technology expert to lead the development of Advanced DRAM architectures, from concept through silicon implementation and productization.

You will collaborate across process integration, device engineering, materials science, characterization, and reliability teams to transform innovative concepts into scalable memory solutions, driving performance, variability control, and reliable operation.

Qualifications

  • MS or PhD in Physics, Materials Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 7 to 10 years of semiconductor proven experience in memory technology, process integration, or device development.
  • Deep understanding of memory technologies (DRAM, NAND) and emerging architectures.
  • Experience leading cross-functional technical projects and applying meticulous experimental design and data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Lead process integration efforts for Advanced DRAM technologies and related components.
  • Develop and integrate memory device architectures from concept to silicon implementation.
  • Design experiments to evaluate performance, reliability, and failure mechanisms.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and deliver product-ready solutions.
  • Drive yield improvements through analysis of inline, defect, and parametric data.

You will collaborate across process integration, device engineering, materials science, characterization, and reliability teams to transform innovative concepts into silicon and deliver breakthrough memory architectures.Responsibilities:Lead process integration efforts for Advanced DRAM technologies, including charge storage devices, thin-film transistors (TFTs), and related device componentsDevelop and integrate new memory device architectures from concept through silicon implementation and productizationDesign and implement experiments to evaluate device performance, variability, reliability, and failure mechanismsPartner with cross-functional teams to optimize process flows and deliver solutions that meet product requirementsDrive yield improvement initiatives through analysis of inline, defect, parametric, and probe dataMinimum Qualifications:MS or PhD in Physics, Materials Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field7 to 10 years of semiconductor proven experience in memory technology, process integration, or device developmentStrong knowledge of memory technologies such as DRAM, NAND, and emerging memory architecturesDeep understanding of semiconductor process integration, process development, device physics, and materials scienceExperience leading cross-functional technical projects and applying meticulous experimental design and data analysis methodologiesPreferred Qualifications:Experience developing advanced-node memory technologies, including Advanced DRAM architecturesKnowledge of memory-related circuit and architecture considerations impacting device design and performanceExperience evaluating reliability, variability, noise mechanisms, and device failure analysisDemonstrated success implementing innovative solutions for memory scaling, performance, or power optimizationExperience using AI-assisted analytics to enhance data interpretation, anomaly detection, and yield improvement initiativesAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
