Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking an experienced Process Integration Engineer in Boise, Idaho to enable manufacturability of advanced DRAM technologies.

You will work with process development, product engineering, design, yield, mask, and probe teams to resolve yield, performance, reliability, and margin challenges. You will design and run R&D fab experiments, optimize flows, and translate technical data into actionable solutions.

Qualifications

• Requires master’s degree with 7–10+ years semiconductor experience
• Deep knowledge of semiconductor device physics and memory technologies (DRAM/NAND)
• Understanding of process development and relation to circuits and memory architecture

Responsibilities

• Lead technology integration activities to enable manufacturability of advanced DRAM technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve yield, performance, reliability, and margin challenges

You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to optimize process flows, improve yield and margin, and translate technical data into solutions that enable future generations of memory technology.Responsibilities:Lead technology integration activities to enable manufacturability of advanced DRAM technologiesPartner with process development, product engineering, design, yield, mask, and probe teams to resolve yield, performance, reliability, and margin challengesDesign and implement R&D fab experiments and optimize process flows to meet product and technology requirementsAnalyze inline, defect, parametric, and probe data to identify root causes and drive yield, performance, cost, and process-margin improvementsLead cross-functional problem solving by summarizing sophisticated technical issues, developing solutions, and driving actions to implementationMinimum Qualifications:Master’s degree in an engineering field with 7–10+ years of relevant semiconductor proven experienceDemonstrated expertise in semiconductor device physics and semiconductor process integrationDetailed knowledge of mainstream memory technologies such as DRAM or NAND gained through significant technical contributionsStrong understanding of process development and the relationship between process integration, circuits, and memory architecturePreferred Qualifications:PhD in an engineering field with 5+ years of relevant semiconductor industry experienceExperience leading projects and driving cross-functional technical teamsProficiency in data analysis, design of experiments (DOE), and statistical techniquesUnderstanding of the technical challenges and opportunities associated with alternative memory technologiesExperience using AI-assisted analytics to enhance data interpretation, anomaly detection, and yield improvement initiativesAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
