  • Conduct rigorous, in-depth reviews of existing and planned systems & methods, challenging the status quo, inspiring innovation and managing change.
  • Be well-informed and impartial, constructing and leading request-for-proposal processes, delivering associated proof-of-concept design, execution and measurement.
  • Enjoy tracking industry trends and maintaining an international, multi-cultural business outlook, with an eye towards aligning talent to initiatives, representing NBCU/GST at industry forums and leading by engineering example, especially under pressure.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field is required.
  • Demonstrable experience in an engineering leadership role, 3+ years.
  • 8+ years of engineering experience as an individual contributor.
  • A successful track record in delivering and maintaining products/services with regional/global web audiences - via streaming over content delivery networks is a bonus.
  • A flair for communicating and presenting technical topics in spoken and written English, to diverse audiences.
  • Willingness to travel around the USA and Europe for work-related activities.
