Job description

We are seeking a Principal Solutions Engineer to partner with financial institutions, fintechs, and enterprise organizations as they implement and scale a highly technical infrastructure platform.

This is a customer-facing role focused on solution design, implementation, technical consulting, and long-term client success. You will work directly with engineering leaders, architects, and technical stakeholders to design scalable integrations, solve complex technical challenges, and ensure successful production deployments.

The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering and cloud infrastructure expertise with the ability to engage customers, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and drive projects from architecture through implementation.

As a senior member of the team, you will also help establish best practices, improve deployment processes, contribute to technical documentation, and provide product feedback that influences future platform development.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with enterprise customers throughout onboarding, implementation, and production deployment.
• Design scalable technical architectures that integrate with complex enterprise environments.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to engineering, infrastructure, and security teams.
• Troubleshoot complex implementation and integration challenges across cloud, API, and application layers.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams on technical evaluations, proof-of-concepts, demonstrations, and RFP responses.
• Develop repeatable implementation frameworks and best practices that improve customer adoption and scalability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and implementation resources.
• Gather customer feedback and communicate product enhancement opportunities to Engineering and Product teams.
• Represent the company during customer meetings, workshops, industry events, and technical presentations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Forward-Deployed Engineering, Professional Services Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Enterprise Integration roles.
• Experience supporting enterprise customers deploying business-critical software platforms.
• Strong software development background with hands-on experience in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Java, Go, or similar languages.
• Proven experience designing and integrating REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, including AWS (GCP and Azure experience is a plus).
• Experience working with microservices, containerized applications, serverless architectures, and modern development practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical environments.
• Familiarity with enterprise security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong documentation, presentation, and customer-facing skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting financial services, fintech, payments, digital assets, or regulated technology environments.
• Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure, digital asset custody, wallet technologies, or related financial technologies.
• Experience working with highly technical APIs, developer platforms, or infrastructure products.
• Prior experience helping organizations scale implementations and establish repeatable customer success processes.
