Job summary

GlobalLogic seeks a Principal Medical Device Embedded Software Engineer to lead architecture, design, and maintenance of embedded software for regulated medical devices. You will work remotely in the USA on a cross‑functional team focused on design controls, risk management, verification, and traceability.

The role requires deep C/C++, RTOS/embedded Linux experience, multithreaded software, device drivers, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in embedded software or firmware for regulated devices.
• Strong C/C++ development and embedded OS experience.
• Knowledge of IEC 62304 and Design Controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for embedded software development and sustaining activities.
• Define and evolve embedded software architecture and interfaces.
• Collaborate across Systems, Electrical, QA, and Regulatory teams.
