Job description

Lead the design of electron optics modules and sub-systems of e-beam inspection tools according to system specifications, from concept design to final release for high-volume manufacturing.

Develop detailed design documents from system to module level, demonstrating design specifications, principles, details, and interfaces following ASML's design process.

Perform simulations and calculations necessary for electron optics module design, including thermal, vacuum, high voltage, dynamics, and mechanical FEM analysis.

Lead design reviews, error budget development, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies. Conduct experiments, verification, and validation processes. Present and document evaluations clearly.

Collaborate with vendors and consultants to develop, analyze, and fabricate components and sub-assemblies. Troubleshoot and resolve issues during fabrication.

Participate in integration and testing of electron optic systems/sub-systems, troubleshooting and verifying designs to ensure high-quality implementation.

Transfer designs to manufacturing by providing technical documentation and supporting the manufacturing team during the transition to mass production.

Engage in new technology research and development, exploring innovative concepts for future electron optic modules.
