Location and Relocation

Located in Lanham, Maryland, with relocation assistance possible. The ATS group will move to Hanover, MD, in early 2026.

Role Description

The successful candidate will design detailed test equipment, develop testing methods for electrical, system integration, qualification, and acceptance testing of space electronic products. Responsibilities include electronic circuit design, mechanical design, LabVIEW test software development, and creating test plans and procedures. Conduct product qualification, environmental, and acceptance testing, and compile test data into reports.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or STEM degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience; or MS with 3 years; or PhD/10 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Strong background in electronics, including power, digital, and analog systems, with experience in circuit design and LabVIEW software.
• Familiarity with bench test equipment, automated test software, and thermal chambers.
• Willingness to work occasional shifts/weekends for 24/7 testing coverage.

Preferred Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Experience with spaceflight electronics and aerospace industry.

Additional Information

Salary range: $100,300 - $150,500. Benefits include health insurance, life/disability insurance, savings plans, paid holidays, and PTO. The application period is approximately 20 days. U.S. Citizenship is required. Northrop Grumman is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
