Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; advanced degrees or certifications preferred.
• Extensive experience in power system design, protection schemes, and power systems analysis.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD and MicroStation for detailed schematics.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling tools and project management principles.
• Expertise in high-voltage electrical systems, power electronics circuit design, and energy sector practices.
• Familiarity with IEEE, NEC, NFPA 70, and NESC standards.
• Experience with GIS applications related to utility planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of high- and low-voltage electrical systems with industry-standard compliance.
• Oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and technical execution to meet milestones.
• Create detailed schematics using AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Perform power systems analysis including protection coordination and fault analysis.
• Implement troubleshooting procedures across AC/DC systems and power electronics.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on system design integration including GIS mapping and construction planning.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes while maintaining QA.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with public utilities on electrical projects.
• Support energy-sector initiatives by applying knowledge of power distribution and energy efficiency.
• Lead IEEE standards implementation for system reliability and safety.
