Principal Electrical Engineer: Water/Wastewater

This position is for experienced electrical engineers focused on California's water industry, supporting water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The role involves designing electrical and control systems, leading a team, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across various offices in California.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Designing electrical and I&C systems for water treatment facilities, pump stations, and distribution systems.
• Developing detailed drawings, diagrams, and system documentation.
• Supporting system integration, SCADA planning, and compliance documentation.
• Performing electrical calculations, system studies, and overseeing construction and commissioning.
• Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical standards and business development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (master's preferred).
• California PE license in Electrical Engineering or Control Systems.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in municipal water/wastewater projects.
• Expertise in power systems, control systems, SCADA, and relevant codes (NEC, NFPA).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, SKM, and related software.
• Strong communication skills and experience in construction support and project management.
