Job summary

Re:Build Fikst, part of Re:Build Manufacturing, seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead advanced electrical design across medical devices, robotics, and industrial applications.

You will own the full product development lifecycle, mentor engineers, and collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to transition designs into production. A BS in EE and 15+ years of hands-on experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience developing electrical/electronic products.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentorship/coaching.
• Experience taking products from concept through manufacturing in a consulting services environment.
• Experience with analog and digital circuit design.
• PCB design and layout experience.
• Knowledge of embedded electronics and microcontroller-based systems.
• Experience with electrical design and simulation tools such as Altium, OrCAD, PSpice, or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience debugging hardware and validating designs.
• Mentors who enjoy engaging with less experienced engineers to get great work done.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative electrical and electronic solutions for products across medical devices, robotics, and industrial automation.
• Lead the full product development lifecycle from concept to production.
• Design analog and digital circuitry, power systems, embedded electronics, sensor interfaces, PCB assemblies, and electromechanical control systems.
• Build, troubleshoot, and refine prototypes using standard lab equipment.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and industrial design teams and present to clients.
