Re:Build Manufacturing in Wilmington, MA is seeking a senior firmware engineer to design and implement embedded software for medical devices, robotics, and industrial automation. You will collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and industrial design engineers to bring solutions from concept to production.

You should have 8–12+ years in embedded C/C++ on microcontrollers, RTOS and Linux, plus strong debugging and client-facing consulting experience.

Qualifications

• BS in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, or related engineering disciplines.
• 8-12+ years of firmware engineering on various hardware platforms with multiple languages and MCUs.
• Experience consulting with clients and interfacing with internal/external stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong background in electromechanical systems and hardware/firmware interaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for medical devices, robotics, and industrial automation products.
• Learn across disciplines and take on increasing responsibilities over time.
• Engage with customers to understand needs, discuss capabilities, and demonstrate solutions.
• Collaborate closely with electrical and mechanical engineers; support hardware demonstrations.
