Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer (2nd shift) in Melbourne, FL to support manufacturing and service test solutions. The position centers on hardware/software development for multi-rack test stations testing aerospace products, with a pay range of $70-$83/hr and a 6-month assignment.

The role requires troubleshooting HW/SW, collaboration with mechanical and systems engineers, ability to reverse engineer existing equipment, and support for automated test

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent field.
Ability to read electronic schematics.
Experience with RF devices is preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot hardware and software solutions.
Collaborate with mechanical and systems engineering to ensure electrical design suitability.
Ability to reverse engineer existing equipment.
Support automated test software development.
Review and verify automated test procedures driving software changes.
Present project status to peers, management, and customers.
Demonstrate time management and multitasking abilities.
Apply knowledge of hardware processes, tools, methods, workflows and best practices.
