Raytheon is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer in the US-MA-TEWKSBURY area. The role focuses on designing, developing, and integrating test equipment within multidisciplinary teams, and creating detailed drawings, schematics, and circuit analyses for complex electrical systems.

The position requires a Bachelor's in STEM and 8+ years of related experience (or an advanced degree with 5+ years). Strong experience with electrical design tools and COTS test equipment is essential.

Location: US-MA-TEWKSBURY-TB2 ~ 50 Apple Hill Dr ~ SUDBURY BLDG, Tewksbury Tb2 200 Sudbury

Position: Principal Electrical Engineer

Security Clearance: Secret; U.S. citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and integration of test equipment capabilities in multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Design production test stations, ITAs (Interface Test Adapters), and harnesses
• Design capture activities via creation of technical drawings, schematics, and circuit design and analysis

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and a minimum of eight (8) years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree and five (5) years of relevant experience
• Experience in electrical engineering, including troubleshooting, analysis, and testing
• Experience with electrical design, analysis, and interpreting schematics with tools such as Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capacitor, or Creo Schematic
• Experience with COTS test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, power meters)

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience supporting project planning, proposals, technical issue resolution, and mentoring early career staff
• Knowledge of RTX projects, programs, or systems for enhancements
• Experience with developing and implementing programming languages
• Experience designing, testing, and integrating digital, mixed signal, and electrical system interconnect
• Experience performing analog, digital, and/or RF design

Salary Range: 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD
