Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Education required.
• Missouri School Leader/Principal certificate required.
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience in a classroom setting.
• 3+ years administrative or supervisory experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Implement and observe all Board policies and administrative regulations.
• Collaborate with central administration on school problems and district issues.
• Advise the superintendent on school activities and problems.
• Recommend administrative procedures and instructional programs.
• Develop short- and long-range school improvement plans.
• Prepare reports, records, and paperwork for school administration.
• Coordinate budget development and monitor expenditures.
• Supervise fundraising procedures and related accounts.
• Define responsibilities at building level and schedule staff efficiently.
• Lead the total school program and instructional leadership.
• Delegate authority and provide professional growth opportunities.
• Monitor curriculum changes within district guidelines.
• Conduct staff meetings and communicate policy changes.
• Evaluate instructional program and plan improvements with faculty.
• Organize departmental meetings to improve curriculum implementation.
• Support special education programs in coordination with the Executive Director of Special Services.
• Participate in recruiting, screening, hiring, and assignment of staff.
• Evaluate staff according to policy and provide feedback.

Education

Master's Degree in Education

Missouri School Leader/Principal certificate

2+ years classroom teaching experience

3+ years administrative/supervisory experience
