Job summary

HDR is seeking a Principal to lead the Education and Science sector in the Southwest. You will set strategic direction, build and sustain high-value client relationships, and drive pursuits from pre-positioning through close. You will direct project teams and bring seasoned PM leadership on large science/education projects.

Preferred candidates have biotech/pharma experience, travel flexibility, and a commitment to sustainable design. HDR is 100% employee-owned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
15 years related experience with a minimum of 7 years in project management.
Registered Architect with ability to lead a team and present to clients.
Experience on large-scale science and higher education projects.
Experience with biotech, pharma, or corporate science clients.
Travel willingness and strong leadership, mentoring and communication skills.
Working knowledge of Revit and MS Office suite.
Active participation in employee-owned culture and travel as required.
