Job summary

HDR is seeking a Principal for Education and Science in the Southwest to shape strategy, win and deliver major projects for science, biotech and higher education clients. You will lead interdisciplinary teams of architects, engineers and designers to deliver impactful spaces.

You’ll drive business development, cultivate client relationships, and ensure sustainable design while promoting HDR’s employee-owned culture and collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale Education and Science projects.
• Proven ability to grow a market, not just manage one.
• Strong client relationship development and presentation skills.
• Excellent leadership, mentoring and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with Revit and related design tools.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for the Education and Science sector across the Southwest region.
• Build and sustain a high-value client portfolio through lasting relationships.
• Lead pursuits from pre-positioning through close and own the results.
• Direct project teams with demonstrated leadership and project delivery experience.
