Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Melbourne, FL is seeking an Electrical and Environmental & E&E Systems Product Trainer (or Principal Product Trainer). You will develop training curricula, study outlines, and materials for Electrical and Environmental systems, and collaborate with SMEs to tailor content for target audiences.

The role operates on a 9/80 schedule with no remote work. Requirements include hands-on E&E aircraft experience, knowledge of MS Office, and the ability to design

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
• 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree for Principal level.
• Hands‑on aircraft experience with E&E systems operations and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Develop training curriculum, study outlines, and orientation materials for Electrical and Environmental systems.
• Support the development of criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
• Continuously revise lesson plans to meet new training requirements and maintain updated technical information.
• Provide input to meet new training requirements and keep technical information up to date.
• Demonstrate and use effective training analysis, project management, course development, and evaluation skills.
• Develop instruction materials—self-paced guides, case studies, job aids, evaluations, scenario-based course outlines.
• Develop training materials—classroom materials, instructor guides, student manuals, workbooks; curricula to support program implementation across target audiences.
• Collaborate with SMEs to identify training needs and develop solutions for unique skills-based training requirements.
• Create and analyze assessments to evaluate learning effectiveness and instructional improvement opportunities.
• Use current Learning Theory to solve complex learning and performance problems.
