Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Principal Distribution Engineer to join our team. The Principal Distribution Engineer is primarily responsible for the cost‑effective conceptual and engineering solutions to upgrade, expand, maintain, and automate overhead and underground power distribution systems for our clients using various software systems and engineering/construction standards. The Principal Distribution Engineer ensures compliance with client procedures, design standards, state and federal regulatory requirements and safety code requirements. The Principal Distribution Engineer will act as a mentor to less experienced engineers on their team and, at times, will work closely with engineers performing substation, transmission, renewable energy, power storage, and communication design. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high‑level professional services to our clients.
