Job summary

Octave is seeking a highly skilled Principal DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure and manage releases. The role collaborates with Development and Infrastructure teams to embed security into pipelines and automate deployment processes for reliable software delivery.

Ideal candidates will have extensive IaC experience, strong scripting skills, and familiarity with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience or 5+ years with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Manage the release process with planning, scheduling, and coordination.
Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable IaC solutions.
Collaborate with development and operations to integrate security into DevOps pipelines.
Automate deployment processes to improve efficiency.
Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
Conduct security assessments and audits to mitigate vulnerabilities.
Stay current with DevSecOps, IaC, and release management best practices.
