Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a DevOps Principal Engineer to provide technical leadership and architectural direction for DevOps practices. This role includes partnering with teams to design scalable, secure delivery platforms, and mentoring engineers in DevOps tools and practices.

The candidate should have over 10 years of experience, strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, and hands-on skills in Linux and AWS. The national salary range for this role is $150-200k, plus additional benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Proven DevOps architecture experience in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools.
• Strong scripting skills using Python or PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural oversight for DevOps practices.
• Lead design and implementation of automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Guide teams on service networking and API management.
• Mentor and coach engineers on DevOps tools and practices.
