Overview
The Principal DevOps Engineer will lead the technical strategy and implementation of CHOP's enterprise-wide cloud migration. As a senior member of the Cloud Product Team within the Enterprise Technology Platform Solutions department, you will drive adoption of cloud-native infrastructure, automate delivery pipelines, and collaborate cross-functionally to modernize data and analytics platforms.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or related field (Required); Master's preferred.
Experience: At least 6 years in public cloud environments and 10 years in IT infrastructure, DevOps, or software engineering.
Skills: Proven leadership in cloud migrations, scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell), container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), CI/CD tools, infrastructure automation, cloud networking, security, cost optimization, multi-cloud management, and observability tools.
Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (Required); DevOps Engineer Expert (Preferred).
Additional Info: Department operates approximately 80% remotely, 20% on-site in Philadelphia. All onsite employees must be vaccinated for COVID-19.
Salary Range: $139,220 - $184,460 annually.
Employment Type: Full-time, Mid-Senior level, Engineering and IT role in Healthcare industry.
