Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer for a Downtown Boston client. This full-time, direct-hire role offers a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

You will design, build and scale cloud infrastructure in an AWS-based environment and serve as a senior technical leader across engineering teams. The position emphasizes hands-on engineering (90%) with leadership and mentorship (10%), focusing on reliability, scalability and performance.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure.
• Proficiency with IaC using Terraform and CDK.
• Experience automating CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience mentoring engineers is a plus.
