Job summary

AutoStore seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the DevOps function for the Qubit Fulfillment Platform, operating Azure infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and automation 24x7. You will own tooling and standards from infrastructure as code to release orchestration and environment provisioning.

Ideal candidates have Azure expertise, C# and Python skills, and experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools to enable safe, frequent releases at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience with Azure-based cloud infrastructure and 24x7 global applications.
• Proficiency in C# and Python development.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell or Bash.
• Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, routing).
• Security best practices and compliance in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

And much more floor space.AutoStore – moving things forward.The Role:As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will take full ownership of the DevOps function for the Qub i t Fulfillment Platform, a warehouse automation application that operates 24/7 globally. You will design, build, and operate the Azure infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and automation that product squads depend on to release safely and frequently. You will own the tooling and standards that make that possible, from infrastructure as code through to release orchestration and environment provisioning.Key Qualifications:Proficiency in cloud platforms , primarily focused in Microsoft Azure .Proficiency in C# and Python , and in scripting with PowerShell or Bash .Experience with I nfrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or Ansible, and with container orchestration using Kubernetes .Understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and routingKnowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirementsFamiliarity with security protocols such as SSH, HTTPS, IPsec, and AAAExperience working with a 24x7 global application with high availability and uptimeExperience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines and release automation through gradual deployments with multiple services , ideally with Azure DevOps , CircleCI , and Octopus DeployExperience with observability and centralized logging tooling such as New Relic, Datadog, Prometheus, or GrafanaExperience with incident management, including on-call participation, root cause analysis, and post-mortem reviewsProficiency in managing both Linux and Windows environmentsExperience designing, developing, and managing global multi-tenant cloud-based infrastructure and applications , ideally with PostgresSQL , Elastic Cluster, etc.Experience with distributed systems and fundamental algorithmic conceptsAbility to troubleshoot and solve issues with cloud-based processesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex infrastructure challengesAbility to work and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cloud solutionsExcellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersIndependent owner who can solve problems, provide architecture guidance , and execute with minimal oversightProven ability to mentor engineers and to establish DevOps standards and best practices across squads, including reviewing infrastructure and pipeline work produced by othersWe Offer:AutoStore believes in taking care of employees and is dedicated to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
