We are actively hiring a Principal Software Engineer to join our Mission Technology Division in Reston, VA.

Responsibilities

• Provide Agile DevOps support to mission-critical systems.
• Build strong systems, software, and cloud environments; support operations and maintenance for critical systems.
• Design, develop, implement, and test customer tools and applications.
• Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including scope estimation, architecture, design, coding, and testing.
• Support innovation through software programming using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, Python, SpringBoot, Hibernate, and Angular.
• Develop and execute software validation and testing using tools like Junit and Katalon.
• Develop and deploy solutions within Commercial Cloud Platforms leveraging infrastructure services.
• Coordinate with team members, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to align with customer use cases.
• Analyze infrastructure needs driven by developed software to meet mission requirements.
• Support Agile development following SAFe practices.
• Utilize DevOps tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Unix bash scripting, and Atlassian suite.
• Create innovative technical solutions to meet customer needs.

Basic Qualifications

• Proficiency with Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and development practices.
• Experience with Java, Angular, Spring, and cloud data services (e.g., S3, RDS, EFS).
• Experience with the software development lifecycle in DevOps environments.
• Experience with testing tools like Junit, scripting in Python and Bash.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Development experience in Cloud Platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with version control and issue tracking systems.

Candidates must possess a current TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.
