Job summary

Hut 8 is seeking a Principal Data Operations professional to design and operate data pipelines feeding analytics-ready data products. You will own ingestion from APIs, SFTP, and databases, build Airflow workflows, and manage cloud infrastructure.

This is an individual-contributor role with potential for leadership on complex initiatives. Candidates should have 5+ years in DataOps or related fields, strong Python/SQL, and experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, and cloud services.

Qualifications

• Experience building production data pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Strong Python and SQL skills and experience with data quality and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into reliable data pipelines and services.
• Develop and operate Airflow/GCP workflows with dependencies, retries, and alerts.
• Model and deliver data across BigQuery, Snowflake, and Cloud Storage.
