Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Principal Associate, Data Scientist to join the Recommendation & Personalization Systems team. You will partner with cross-functional data scientists, engineers, and product managers to build scalable personalized recommendations across web and mobile platforms.

You will develop models end-to-end using Python, Spark, AWS, and open-source tools, translate complex results into business impact, and contribute to state-of-the-art research in recommender systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, OR) with 5+ years analytics experience.
• Master's Degree in a quantitative field or MBA with quantitative concentration plus 3+ years analytics.
• PhD in a quantitative field may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities
