Capital One is seeking a Principal Associate, Data Scientist for its Personal Loan data team in McLean, VA. The role focuses on building predictive models across acquisition, pricing and verification using Python, Spark, and AWS.

You will partner with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to deliver a product customers love and translate insights into business impact, with strong emphasis on model validation and deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field plus 5 years of data analytics experience or
• Master's degree (quantitative) or MBA with quantitative concentration plus 3 years of data analytics experience or
• PhD in quantitative field plus 3 years of data analytics experience

Responsabilités

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver a data science product.
• Build machine learning models from design through deployment.
• Work with Python, Conda, AWS, Spark, and related tools to analyze large data sets.
• Translate complex analyses into tangible business goals
