Ensuring ethical data use and communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are also key responsibilities. The role emphasizes leadership in generative AI healthcare solutions to revolutionize healthcare operations and enhance member experience.

Job Duties include:

• Research and stay current with AI and machine learning advancements.
• Deploy, monitor, and govern AI models to meet regulatory standards.
• Lead innovative projects testing new AI technologies.
• Extract insights from data to inform strategic decisions.
• Design and train machine learning models using various algorithms.
• Develop agentic workflows utilizing AI agents for autonomous tasks.
• Use retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques to enhance language models.
• Fine-tune pre-trained models for specific applications.
• Prepare data through cleaning and preprocessing.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to integrate AI solutions.
• Create documentation and report findings clearly.
• Mentor and guide less experienced data scientists.

Qualifications include:

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data science, preferably in healthcare.
• Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
• Proficiency in Python and R, with experience in TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms.
• Experience with agentic workflows and RAG techniques.
• Data visualization skills (Tableau, Power BI).
• Database management experience (SQL, NoSQL).
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Preferred: PhD or additional experience, experience with cloud platforms, NLP, and computer vision techniques.
