Job summary

DeNOVO Solutions, a cleared defense contractor, is seeking a Principal Data Scientist to lead enterprise AI strategy in Aurora, CO. You will define and drive the AI/ML architecture across programs, mentor senior data scientists, and ensure model governance and compliance.

Responsibilities include building scalable ML pipelines, enabling distributed compute and containerized workflows, and guiding R&D in federated learning and data fusion across mission and enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Fifteen (15) or more years of related professional experience supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Five years defining and leading the enterprise-level AI/ML architecture across programs.
• Five years establishing scalable ML pipelines with distributed compute and containerized workflows.
• Four years mentoring data scientists and promoting AI ethics, governance, and model compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI/ML program development, validation, and deployment across mission and enterprise systems.
• Establish enterprise ML pipelines supporting distributed compute and containerized workflows for scalability.
• Develop model explainability and compliance frameworks for operational AI.
• Oversee multi-domain data fusion analytics and promote cross-program algorithm reuse.
• Mentor senior data scientists and align with organizational standards.
• Define and enforce AI ethics and governance standards across programs.
• Guide R&D integration of advanced algorithms, federated learning, and data fusion analytics.
