Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in machine learning and data science, including data analysis and model implementation.
• 7+ years of programming in Python and Java, with PyTorch and Pandas for ML tasks.
• 7+ years in Medicare Advantage Chart Review and healthcare analytics initiatives.
• 5+ years in big data technologies: Hadoop, PySpark, Sqoop, Oozie, Hive, and Java-based services.
• 5+ years in Microsoft Azure and Databricks for cloud data processing and deployment.
• 5+ years using IBM BRMS for rule-based automation and enterprise logic management.
• 5+ years of visualization experience with Tableau, Seaborn, and Matplotlib.
• 5+ years working with SQL, Oracle, Hive, and HBase databases.
• 3+ years managing data science teams delivering deep learning architectures.
• 3+ years in Medicaid/ACA and Medicare star rating contexts.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and drive novel ML method development from first principles to deployed solutions.
• Embed AI in Risk Adjustment programs and improve performance of models.
• Lead research directions and reviews for a multi-disciplinary team.
• Mentor junior data scientists to deliver software and business value.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Business and Product teams to rapid value delivery.
• Ensure model alignment with ethical standards and safe operation.
