The Marvell Data Science and Engineering Team leads initiatives in Data Science, Strategy, and Architecture. As a high-visibility team, we deliver critical data science solutions to operations and leadership, enabling data-driven decision-making at the highest levels.

This team manages global, high-impact projects that add significant value across the organization. Using cutting-edge data science technologies and methodologies, we help Marvell maintain its leadership in leveraging data for business advantage. The Principal Data Scientist will play a key role in designing, developing, and managing projects that support the company's data science and machine learning initiatives.

What You Can Expect
  • Hands-on development, production, and operation of Machine Learning models and pipelines at scale.
  • Lead the development and deployment of predictive models to optimize business processes and enhance product quality.
  • Collaborate with business teams, data scientists, and data architects to design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning algorithms.
  • Apply techniques such as supervised and unsupervised learning, and optimization methods to solve complex business problems in IT, supply chain, and design engineering.
  • Perform statistical analyses to validate models and ensure their accuracy and reliability.
  • Clean and preprocess data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity for model development.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into machine learning solutions.
What We're Looking For
  • Extensive experience with machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data analysis.
  • Deep understanding of data governance and best practices in data management, with proficiency in tools such as Python, MLflow, PL/SQL, and Github.
  • Ability to collaborate with data scientists, data architects, and business intelligence teams to develop data solutions that meet organizational needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry or Big Tech is a plus.
  • Experience building AIML and AI solutions.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of experience in end-to-end data and machine learning solutions; Master's Degree preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

Expected Base Pay Range (USD): $133,500 - $200,000 per annum. The final starting salary will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and market conditions.

Additional Compensation and Benefits: We offer a comprehensive package including base salary, bonus, equity, health and financial wellbeing benefits, flexible time off, 401k, year-end shutdown, floating holidays, and paid volunteer time.
