Job description
Overview

This is a remote/rotational position, working a two weeks on/two weeks off schedule in Prudhoe Bay, AK. The typical schedule is 84 hours per week (40 hours straight time and a minimum of 44 hours at time and a half). All meals and lodging are provided by Worley while the employee is on location. Transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided.

Job Purpose: Our Fleet Maintenance Reliability Analyst role provides the opportunity to work with our equipment maintenance team that supports large-scale oil and gas projects on the Alaskan North Slope on a rotational basis.

Core Responsibilities
  • Data Collection & Analysis: Gather and analyze data on vehicle usage, maintenance costs, fuel consumption, and component failure rates.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track fleet performance, component reliability, and maintenance effectiveness to identify potential issues before they lead to failure.
  • Predictive Maintenance: Utilize data analysis to predict equipment failures, optimize maintenance schedules, and recommend preventive measures.
  • Cost & Efficiency Analysis: Analyze operational costs and part usage rates to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Reporting & Recommendations: Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to inform decision-making and provide actionable recommendations for reliability and efficiency improvements.
  • Root Cause Failure Analysis: Investigate equipment failures and recurring problems to determine root causes and drive corrective actions.
  • Reliability Strategy Development: Support the development and implementation of new reliability tools, strategies, and maintenance plans to ensure long-term fleet health.
  • Assist in the development of reports which help the Operations Management Team make sound business decisions.
  • Frequently engage in discussions surrounding the daily business activity of the operating division.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of fundamental maintenance and reliability methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Access, including writing and troubleshooting queries, forms, and reports.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to write complex formulas.
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities: self-motivation, resilience, positive attitude, and ability to work effectively in a team.
Physical Demands / Work Environment

Work is performed in a remote Arctic environment with limited medical resources. The site is approximately 840 miles from surgical, specialist, and tertiary medical care, and medical evacuation may be delayed due to weather conditions. The following physical requirements are representative of those needed to perform the essential functions of the job:

  • Must be able to stand, walk on level, uneven and slippery surfaces, sit, squat, kneel, reach through low and high ranges, and maintain balance and coordination in harsh Arctic environments.
  • Must stand throughout evaluation.
  • Aerobic capacity evaluation via 3-minute step test.
  • Sit and reach and range of motion evaluations.
  • Lift 25 lbs. from floor to waist with two hands.
  • Lift 25 lbs. from floor to shoulder with two hands.
  • Carry 25 lbs. for 15 feet with two hands.

In-Vehicle Monitoring System

Company vehicles are equipped with in-cab cameras and vehicle monitoring systems that may record video and audio, as well as collect GPS location, vehicle speed, harsh braking, rapid acceleration, and other driving behaviors. Data may be reviewed by management to ensure compliance with company policies and safe driving practices.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of four (4) to six (6) years of experience in a reliability and maintenance related field in a supervisory or analyst position.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Valid driver’s license required and ability to be insured by Worley’s auto insurer.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable discipline preferred, or equivalent experience.
