Job summary

ITC Infotech is seeking a Principal Enterprise Solutions Architect – Data & Open Source to lead strategic vision for data platforms. You will modernize legacy batch systems into scalable, event-driven architectures, leveraging AI-enabled practices to accelerate delivery while maintaining strong customer-facing leadership.

The role demands deep expertise in Java, Python, SQL, Kafka, Airflow and cloud-native stacks, with a track record in enterprise-scale implementations and governance.

Qualifications

• 12+ years hands-on experience in software engineering, data platform engineering, and enterprise systems.
• 5+ years in a Principal or Lead Architect role designing and maintaining production-grade enterprise software architectures.
• 3+ years of customer-facing liaison with client stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specs.
• 8+ years of deep hands-on development in Java, Python, and advanced SQL.
• 5+ years with streaming systems (Kafka) and data orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt).
• 5+ years architecting on public clouds (AWS) with Kubernetes/Docker and Terraform.
• 1–2 years practical experience integrating LLM patterns and AI-assisted coding tools within SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical visionary and strategic partner to customer engineering leadership.
• Lead enterprise-wide architectural governance and design standardization.
• Evaluate emerging open-source tech, cloud services, and AI frameworks for scalability and cost.
• Design real-time, event-driven data pipelines with CDC and Kafka Connect.
• Architect data lakes, pipelines with Airflow, AWS EKS, PostgreSQL, and vector databases.
• Drive AI-enabled engineering productivity and enforce rigorous release governance.
