Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Principal Digital Architect for Physical AI Ready Data & Annotations in Irving, TX. You will transform enterprise data into reusable, governed data products to accelerate AI and simulation, while defining operating models, standards, and ownership across data and AI teams.

You will bridge business domains with data engineering and AI, creating scalable data assets consumed across projects and sites to enable AI innovation at scale.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of data architecture and designing blueprints for business processes.
• Ability to analyze problems and determine root causes with alternatives.
• Experience designing processing mechanisms and user-access interfaces.
• Skill to elicit and record required functionality and non‑functional needs.
• Capacity to align IT blueprints with business strategies and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop architecture deliverables to solve business problems.
• Design application infrastructure, databases, languages, and testing approaches.
• Define enterprise framework for physical AI ready data products.
• Set standards for data product design, metadata, discoverability, quality and security.
