You will translate high-level objectives into fully developed, technically sound tools with minimal supervision. The role emphasizes proactive work, security clearance eligibility, and experience with Palantir Foundry in a DoD context.

Job description

MTSI is seeking a highly motivated, independent engineer to serve as a program scheduler and data visualization expert, developing advanced analytical tools and robust management dashboards for multiple, simultaneous complex programs. This position requires a proactive, selfdirected professional who excels at taking highlevel objectives and independently producing fully developed, technically sound tools and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Leveraging the MDA instantiation of Palantir's "Foundry" software to develop sophisticated analytical tools and interactive dashboards, converting complex datasets into clear, actionable executivelevel visual products
• Designing, building, and maintaining scalable scheduling and analytical tools enabling continuous tracking and optimization
• Providing periodic database management support
• Operating independently translating abstract, highlevel objectives into complete, functioning tools without stepbystep guidance

Basic Qualifications

• US Citizenship
• Master's degree in a STEM field and 12+ years of engineering experience. Alternatively: Bachelor's degree in STEM and 20+ years of experience may be considered
• Ability to develop analytical and visualization tools
• Ability to work proactively and independently with minimal supervision
• Active security clearance at the required level (e.g., TS/SCI) or ability to obtain this clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting database administration
• Experience with Palantir's AI-based software development environments
• Strong ability to synthesize technical data into executivelevel products
• Familiarity with missile defense or other complex DoD program environments
