Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Principal or Senior Principal Cyber Systems Engineer in Annapolis, MD to design and implement secure systems protecting the organization from cyber threats. Role requires deep cybersecurity knowledge, system architecture experience, and vulnerability analysis skills.

The position involves collaboration across teams, adherence to RMF and STIG, and occasional travel. It targets individuals with DoD clearance and strong communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with related experience, or higher, per level.
• Citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret with SCI.
• Certification in DoD 8140/8570 IAT II or higher, or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Experience remediating vulnerabilities and integrating security into SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cyber security solutions across systems.
• Conduct threat modeling, assessments, and vulnerability scans.
• Collaborate with teams to embed security best practices.
• Provide guidance and training on cyber security.
