Job summary

Strategic Analysis, Inc. seeks an experienced Principal Cyber Security Engineer to lead DoD platform integration and transition efforts within a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring TS/SCI with CI poly, deep C/C++/Python skills, and hands-on reverse engineering experience with Ghidra/IDA. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Specialized expertise in cybersecurity and offensive cyber development.
• BS in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field required.
• Experience with DoD S&T/R&D life cycles and program transition to a DoD program of record.
• Significant experience with stakeholder engagement and technology transition involving the IC/USSOCOM/US Cyber Command.
• Experience with SECDEVOPS, CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and automating workflows.
• 3+ years of experience with programming in C, C++, Python, and Assembly.
• Experience using reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro, Hex-Rays, Ghidra, Binary Ninja, or objdump.
• Understanding of exploit mitigations such as DEP and ASLR.

Responsibilities

Job description

Strategic Analysis, Inc. is seeking an experienced Principal Cyber Security Engineer to join our team. Experience with prior Department of Defense Science and Technology (S&T) and Research and Development (R&D) platform integration experience teams is what we are looking for. The ideal candidate will leverage their deep understanding of DoD S&T and R&D life cycles to manage integration and transition of platforms to a DoD program of record. This role requires a high degree of technical expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Required Experience:

• Specialized expertise in cybersecurity and offensive cyber development
• Computer science degree background, including reverse engineering, vulnerability discovery, and exploitation techniques
• Significant experience with applied research or advanced DoD and/or Intelligence Community sponsored research in the realm of cyber (emphasis on applied and advanced)
• Significant experience with stakeholder engagement and technology transition involving the intelligence community, USSOCOM, and/or US Cyber Command
• Significant experience with SECDEVOPS, CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and automating workflows.
• 3+ years of experience with computer programming languages in C, C++, Python, and Assembly
• Experience with automating reverse engineering and vulnerability detection techniques using Ghidra scripts
• Understanding of exploit mitigations such as DEP and ASLR.
• Experience using reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro, HexRays, Ghidra, Binary Ninja, or objdump
• Experience in the commercial technology sector, with an emphasis on artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies
• Management and business experience consistent with technology management support of DARPA programs

Education:

• BS in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field required

Clearance:

• TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph is required

Travel:

• May be required up to 10% of the time
