Hybrid work allows in-office collaboration in CT/ET time zones, with leadership across Product, Engineering and senior stakeholders to shape API contracts, documentation, and AI-driven workflows.

The role demands a decade of UX excellence in enterprise or developer platforms, strong API fluency, and a proven ability to mentor designers while delivering measurable

Qualifications

• 10+ years in UX or product design leading complex B2B, enterprise, or developer platform products.
• Proven experience designing APIs, developer portals, SDKs, or documentation.
• Working knowledge of API concepts (REST, authentication, errors) and collaboration with engineers.
• Strong information architecture, user flows, and high-fidelity prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design vision for the API Developer Platform, including APIs, portals, docs, SDKs, and AI tools.
• Partner with Product and Engineering early to shape API contracts and roadmaps.
• Lead developer research and validate designs through prototypes and usability tests.
• Design the full developer journey from discovery to first API call, debugging, and monitoring.
• Drive consistent API patterns across documentation, code samples, errors, and permissions.
• Mentor designers and raise technical design fluency across the team.
• Influence executives and align across teams on a durable, developer-centered platform experience.
