Role: Principal Consultant - Safety Assurance (Rail)

Location: USA – Remote working from New Jersey, California, Colorado, Oregon, Texas, Michigan, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Florida & Virginia.

Salary: Up to $195k USD per annum

The Role

We seek talented individuals eager to leverage their expertise in Safety Assurance within our Rail Certification and Consulting business. Whether your background is in Rolling Stock, Infrastructure, Signalling, or O&M, you will support various facets of the rail industry in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality analysis, assessments, reports, and designs supporting client projects, adhering to timelines and budgets.
  • Mentor junior colleagues, ensuring project activities meet standards.
  • Develop innovative tools and techniques based on global best practices.
  • Plan and execute project activities ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to business development through technical expertise and proposals.
  • Conduct risk assessments to ensure safety and client satisfaction.
  • Represent the company in meetings, workshops, and industry events.
  • Collaborate internally to drive project success.
  • Take on leadership roles as needed to support business objectives.
  • Help grow our North American business through excellence in service.

Key Competencies and Experience

  • Extensive experience in the rail industry with a proven safety assurance track record.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and deadline management.
  • Knowledge of CMREA / CSM / CENELEC standards.
