Job summary

Rimkus Consulting Group is seeking a Principal Consultant for the Quantum & Delay group to lead forensic delay analysis and complex construction claims globally. You will perform multiple methods of delay analysis, and cost/quantum work for insurers, law firms, owners, developers, and contractors.

The role requires 8–10+ years in forensic delay analysis, CPM scheduling, and damages analysis, with a P6 proficiency and professional certification. Travel up to 25% may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
• 8-10+ years of experience in Forensic Delay Analysis.
• 5-7+ years of experience performing CPM scheduling and cost analysis.
• 8-10+ years of experience in the analysis of construction claim damages including delay damages.
• Planning and Scheduling Professional certification from AACEi.

Responsibilities

• Perform forensic delay analysis on schedules and produce written reports.
• Perform contract, change order, cost overrun, damages and quantum analysis and produce reports.
• Research and analyze contemporaneous project documentation.
• Manage multiple complex projects and coordinate with the team.
• Coordinate and deliver projects including client engagement and driving accountability.
• Provide technical oversight on matters and junior staff.
• Demonstrate knowledge of industry standards and tools.
• Generate work and distribute assignments to others.
• Build trust and manage client relationships.
• Provide thought leadership internally and externally.
