Job summary

SEYA Group is seeking a Principal Consultant to lead cloud-focused engagements and guide clients from strategy through implementation. The role involves working with executive stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes across multiple accounts.

The ideal candidate brings deep business and technical expertise in cloud adoption, cost modeling, and strategic consulting, with experience presenting to CxO-level executives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering professional services or providing product management for cloud workloads on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to SEYA Group Leadership.
• Discuss every stage of the technology adoption cycle from CEO to developer.
• Be assigned to multiple accounts and act as a trusted technical advisor.
• Provide thought leadership in cloud strategies and architectures.
• Guide clients to maximize value from technology investments.
• Participate in the sales process in a pre-sales capacity.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to scope and author statements of works and support account management.

• 5+ years of experience delivering professional services or providing product management for one or more workloads on major cloud providers (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure)

The ideal candidate applying for the Principal Consultant Role has the following:

• 5+ years of experience delivering professional services or providing product management for one or more workloads on major cloud providers (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure)

Preferably Delivering One Or More Of The Following

• Cloud Adoption in enterprise and small to medium scale environments
• Microservices adoption
• Insights from Data (Big Data, Machine Learning etc.)
• Infrastructure as Code adoption (Terraform, CloudFormation etc.) Cost reductions
• 10+ years of experience in a relevant information technology environment
• A history of delivering presentations to a wide ranging audience including CxO and VP level executives
• A history of managing multiple complex projects with a wide variety of stakeholders simultaneously
• Sales experience preferably in a pre-sales function
• Able to confidently model costs and explain the total cost of ownership model of various methods of hosting infrastructure
• A history of holding a budget and is able to model project costs and provide resourcing plans
• A history of handling customer requests and escalations and is able to confidently

Principal Consultants are expected to provide deep business and technical expertise across all of our focus areas in cloud

• Participate in the sales process, typically in a pre-sales or equivalent capacity.
• Work alongside our Account Executives to scope and author statements of works for our clients and will be heavily involved in account management.
