Mott MacDonald is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead multiple transportation design and construction projects, as well as strategic pursuits, in a leadership capacity. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, purpose‑driven environment and is passionate about delivering excellence in infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead oversight of project finances, budgeting, reporting, and provide technical support for successful delivery.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, staff, and project teams, acting as a liaison across multi‑disciplinary engineering teams and external stakeholders.
• Manage client accounts and support new project pursuits, including proposal development and budget management.
• Champion contract management best practices and foster a positive, inclusive team culture that motivates and empowers staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in construction management of large, complex heavy civil engineering projects (transit, ports, highways, etc.).
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience on major infrastructure projects.
• Professional Engineering registration in California preferred.
• Certified Construction Manager or Project Management certification preferred.
• Experience with both alternative and traditional project delivery methods is required.

The expected salary for this position is $169,000–$207,000.
