Ultra Intelligence & Communications is seeking a full-time COMSEC Operator in Warrenton, Virginia. The role supports a COMSEC operations center with on-site personnel for key distribution and cryptographic support for communications systems; expect ~5% travel for customer meetings and training.

Responsibilities include daily operations, monitoring requests, and updating equipment (CARDS, KMI, STE, KG-240/250, SDS KIK-20, SKL AN/PYQ-10).

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal/customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and documentation experience.
• Willing to lead and work as a self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Day to day COMSEC operations for key distribution and lifecycle management of electronic keys.
• Provide cryptographic support for communication networks.
• Coordinate with offsite locations for equipment and electronic key issues.
• Operate Tier 2 distribution systems including CARDS and KMI.
• Monitor requests and take action to address problems; update COMSEC equipment.
• Support monthly COMSEC training classes and occasional facility tours.
• Orient new employees on customer policies and processes; provide vendor support.
• Submit metrics as required by the customer; assist system testing as requested.

Ultra Encryption, a division of Ultra I&C, is currently seeking a full-time COMSEC Operator located in Warrenton, Virginia. The successful candidate will work with a team of on-site personnel for the daily execution of a COMSEC operations center, thus providing support for key distribution, cryptographic support for communication systems and Tier 3 equipment’s. This position is 40 hours per week and may require some travel (approximately 5%) to support customer meetings and training events.

Responsibilities

• Day to day operations for supporting High Assurance COMSEC key distribution and full life cycle management of electronic key requirements
• Provide cryptographic support of communication networks
• Provide daily interaction, to include troubleshooting and problem resolution to offsite locations in aspects of equipment and electronic key
• Daily use of Tier 2 distribution systems to include CARDS and KMI
• Monitor incoming requests for COMSEC related matters and take necessary action to address problems
• Updating and maintaining COMSEC equipment (i.e., STE, Viper, KG-240/250, RASKL KIK-30, SDS KIK-20, SKL AN/PYQ-10)
• Support monthly COMSEC training classes and occasional facility tours
• Orientate new employees on customer’s policies and processes
• Provide support to customer vendors
• Submit metrics as required by the customer
• Support system testing of new capabilities as requested by the customer

Qualifications Required

• Active TS/SCI Cleared Candidate
• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal/customer service skills
• Strong organizational and documentation experience
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to lead problem resolution
• Willing to lead and perform as a self-starter
• Able and willing to integrate self into an already existing, highly functioning, small team environment, and multi-task as required to achieve the success of the daily mission
• In rare cases, willingness to work non-standard hours to support mission critical customer needs

Qualifications Preferred

• 2+ years' experience with current COMSEC equipment and management systems
• Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) and iApp KMI Certified Management Client (MGC)
• Advanced Key Processor (AKP)
• COMSEC Accounting, Reporting and Distribution System (CARDS)
• Experience with electronic key ordering and distribution
• Setting up and troubleshooting electronic key loaders for key receipt and transmission
• TrKEK creation iApp key troubleshooting
• In-person key support to users/customers
• Coordination with Other Government Agencies (OGAs) Emergency key restoration
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent job experience
• COMSEC Trained/Briefed KMI Certified
• Understanding and familiarity with a Central Office of Record (COR)
