Qualifications

• Experience architecting production compiler infrastructure for ML accelerators, GPUs, or custom silicon.
• Experience with compiler intermediate representations, optimization passes, and code generation techniques.
• Experience leading multi-year cross-functional technical initiatives, including defining metrics and managing dependencies.
• Experience integrating compiler infrastructure with PyTorch and other ML frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design compiler architecture across the full MTIA stack, including graph compilers, IRs, optimization passes, and code generation.
• Build extensible compiler frameworks to support evolving ML model architectures.
• Identify and remove performance bottlenecks from high-level graph optimizations to low-level code generation.
• Collaborate with MTIA hardware teams on hardware-software co-design and architecture improvements.
• Develop validation practices ensuring production-quality code generation at scale.
• Mentor engineers and lead compiler architecture reviews across the organization.
