Job summary

Talentree is seeking a Principal-level Communication Systems Engineer for its Denver-area team. The role focuses on space communications payloads and RF systems, with on-site presence in the Denver area.

Candidates will lead system engineering efforts, decompose requirements, and interact with customers. A BS in EE and strong leadership are required; U.S. citizen or eligible for export controls as per U.S. government regulations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of engineering experience with space-based communications payloads / SATCOM systems.
• Hands-on RF systems and antennas experience.
• Experience decomposing system requirements, interfaces, and communications architectures.
• Experience with spacecraft / payload systems engineering, including integration and verification.
• Working knowledge of DOORS, Jama, or similar requirements-management tools.
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.

I’m supporting an advanced space communications company seeking a Principal-level engineer for its growing Denver-area team.

MUST HAVE:

• 7+ years of engineering experience, with significant work on space-based communications payloads / SATCOM systems
• Strong hands-on experience with RF systems and antennas
• Experience developing and decomposing system requirements, interfaces, and communications architectures
• Experience with spacecraft / payload systems engineering, including integration and verification
• Working knowledge of DOORS, Jama, or similar requirements-management tools
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field

Strong technical leadership and customer-facing experience are highly valued.

Location: Denver Area, CO — On-site

Compensation: $145,000–$195,000 base + stock options and benefits
