Madison-Davis, LLC is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Architect to establish cloud architecture standards across AWS and Azure. This principal IC will design governance controls, scalable patterns, secure networking, and managed Kubernetes architectures while collaborating closely with engineering teams.

The role combines strategic technical leadership with hands-on infrastructure work, mentoring engineers and guiding critical technical escalations in a complex hybrid environment.

Competenze

• Proven production cloud architecture experience in AWS and Azure.
• Experience implementing multi-account/multi-subscription governance.
• Deep expertise in managed Kubernetes architectures (AKS/EKS).
• Strong Terraform / Infrastructure as Code skills and policy-as-code controls.

An investment and technology organization is seeking a senior Cloud Platform Architect to establish cloud architecture standards and technical direction across a complex AWS and Azure environment. This principal-level individual contributor will design governance controls, scalable infrastructure patterns, secure cloud networking, and managed Kubernetes architectures. The position combines strategic technical decision-making with hands-on infrastructure experience and close collaboration with engineering teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define cloud architecture standards and reusable design patterns across AWS and Azure.
• Establish cloud governance, security guardrails, and policy-as-code controls.
• Design landing zones, account and subscription structures, and scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Architect managed Kubernetes platforms, including AKS/EKS lifecycle and operational patterns.
• Lead hybrid-cloud connectivity, networking, routing, and identity architecture.
• Own Terraform and Infrastructure as Code standards.
• Provide architectural guidance for cloud data platforms and emerging AI infrastructure.
• Mentor engineers, conduct design reviews, and participate in difficult technical escalations.

Role Requirements

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• HPC or GPU infrastructure experience.
• AI inference or model-hosting infrastructure.
• Production cloud data platforms.
• Regulated or high-availability infrastructure environments.
• Relevant cloud architecture certifications and advanced networking qualifications.
