Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP is seeking a Principal Systems/Software Engineer for Cloud & On-Premise Software Development. The role is designed as Hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week in an HPE office.

You will lead cloud-native security platforms, architect software, and guide cross-functional teams across geographies to deliver scalable solutions. Strong emphasis on testing, automation, and rigorous design for enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software for enhancements and new products.
• Experience building Cloud products with Microservices architecture.
• Experience in cross-geography, globally distributed engineering teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering with 10+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Owns and responsible for multiple core software modules end-to-end of the product.
• Lead/mentor/grow junior tech talent within the team.
• Develops organization-wide architectures and methodologies for software systems across platforms.
• Identifies and evaluates new technologies and partner relationships for integration.
