Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support Azure and local network infrastructure, including Azure networking (BGP, ExpressRoute, Site-to-Site tunnels), LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and other technologies.
• Possess extensive knowledge and experience with Azure networking.
• Develop cloud architecture related to Microsoft peering, VPC peering, security groups, NACLs, and route tables.
• Maintain VPN tunnels using Palo Alto and Cisco ASA solutions.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for Cloud Networking, leading projects on Cloud/On-Prem Networking design and implementation.
• Collaborate on projects with cross-functional teams to create best-practice cloud networking environments.
• Perform packet captures and analysis to resolve complex routing and application traffic issues.
• Implement enterprise-level networking solutions to meet business objectives, monitor network availability, and analyze logs for security controls.
• Design, implement, and maintain the bank’s network infrastructure across all locations.
• Monitor network activity for security breaches and analyze incidents for escalation.

Requirements

• 8+ years as a Network Engineer.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Extensive experience with Azure/AWS Cloud Networks; certifications preferred.
• Understanding of ExpressRoute/Direct Connect, routing, security, load balancing, and cloud-based network services.
• Experience with Cloud Architecture, peering, and network security configurations.
• Experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, and VPN solutions.
• Strong skills in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers/switches.
• Effective communication skills.

Education and Certifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 10+ years of related experience. Microsoft and Cisco certifications are preferred and must be current.

Physical Demands

Regular talking, hearing, sitting, handling, occasional standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 20 pounds. Vision abilities include close and distance vision and focus adjustment.
