Position: Senior Data Architect, Digital Identity & Fraud Engineering

We are seeking an exceedingly versatile Senior Data Architect to work in our Digital Identity & Fraud Engineering team. As a Senior Technologist, you will be responsible for the technical direction of our products, ensuring appropriate technology use and driving initiatives to bring customer value and operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with enterprise teams to ensure technical alignment with our product architecture. Mentoring team members and working with management to build capabilities are also key aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

  1. Design secure, scalable, and cost-effective data architectures, leading the adoption of AWS/Azure services and collaborating with data engineers on data preparation for modeling.
  2. Assess and advocate for data management technologies and practices, closing gaps between current and future states.
  3. Develop and implement strategic plans to improve data integration, quality, and delivery supporting business initiatives.
  4. Evaluate architectural trade-offs and recommend optimal solutions that meet technical requirements.
  5. Mentor and develop staff, fostering technical skills and capabilities.
  6. Collaborate with clients and developers to enhance data value across the organization.
  7. Lead innovative technology solutions and share outcomes to improve future project delivery.

Skills/Experience

  1. 12+ years of proven experience with on-premises and cloud data technologies, including integration, visualization, and analytics.
  2. Expertise in end-to-end data architecture, including ingestion, storage, and relational modeling using SQL and Python.
  3. Proficiency with modern data architectures such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Kafka, Kinesis, DataFlow, Airflow, NoSQL databases, GraphQL, Snowflake, and DataBricks.
  4. Strategic thinking and ability to relate architectural decisions to customer needs.
  5. Knowledge of data governance, security, privacy, and policies.
